At some point we may regret releasing these photos, but then again, we do like to live up to the ‘Maniac’ bit of our name. We thought these pictures needed little explanation, although some could do with a lot, but sometimes it’s best not to say anything. So in that vain we’ll let you make up the captions…

That made my morning, lovely ladies!
My table ended up with sparkles all over their faces, too. Nothing to do with the wine, of course.
Juliet – can you tell who’s the naughtiest Romaniac?
They made great face decorations, didn’t they? My main fear is, not all of these photos are fuelled by alcohol! 😉
Funny how some of those photos seem a little blurry . . . wonder why? 🙂
Hmm… don’t know what it could be? Strange how none of our eyes seem focused either 😉
LOL! It looks a lot more fun than the one conference I pitched up at (though I was only there for the day…)
It was lots of fun, Phillipa! You’ll have to join our antics at the next one!
I’m going to try copying that thing with wotsits today …
It’s Lucie’s Gruffulo impression. Us girls are talented like that 😉
What happened to the teepee one? I wish I had some to share – my camera was sitting on the dsek at home and my phone threw a wobbler!
I published that one on FB, Celia. Can send it to you, Catherine xx
Hahahaha I have never wanted you all more.
Lol! Glad to hear it 😉 Catherine x
How come you all still manage to look gorgeous – even with Wotsit-fangs and duck-beak crisps? I spent the whole conference looking flushed and deranged..am madly jealous of your photogenicity, girls!
We have evidence of you looking perfectly normal & me looking like a deranged drunk. Would you like us to add it, Jane?
Brilliant photos! I so wish I’d been able to come, although dread to think what Romaniac images would have been captured of me. With my clumsiness track record, I’d no doubt have been snapped falling backwards over a chair/wall/table (take your pick – I’ve done all three!) not in the least bit under the influence of alocohol, of course 😉 x
I don’t think I could have laughed harder that weekend, Jan, but then again, some Calamity-Jan would have done it 😉
Or alcohol, even 😉 x
Hahahahahahaha! Love the pics ladies. Hope I’ll be able to come to a conference/party one day soon.
So worth going. It’s excellent value for money. Would be great to see you at one soon.
Now these are more like the scenes at conference that I remember 🙂
Te hee! Well we had to let everyone know what we get up to when we’re not busy learning 😉
That’s a great one of you Vanessa with the glass of wine! These are great photos. Sometimes the more embarrassing/most silly photos are the best and more interesting 😉 Proof you had fun 😀 Love them. And as I say, it’s all writing material. lol! You were doing it for research.
That’s what it was – research. If my heroines are now able to pull ridiculous faces, we know where the inspiration came from 😉
We certainly did put the research in there…
Fantastic! Hilarious set of photos, they took me back to THAT weekend. Great fun, great group of ladies. I love the fact that you have no fear in sharing these. I look forward to more of the same….
It shall now for ever be referred to as THAT weekend. And who let you know there are more of the same? Ah, I remember – you were there 😉
Now it’s just an observation, but who do you see starring most in these photos? A certain naughty Sue, perchance? ;). And what did they say at home when asked how their ‘business weekend’ was? ‘Exhausting…?’. Love it!
I’m saying nothing 😉
Hilarious photos. I’m going to have to remember the duck beak one for Christmas entertainment. It was great to see you all!
Great to see you as well 😉 Amazing what you can do with some buttons and a couple of pringles!
Loved the pics. Great to see you all having such a great time. Definitely don’t need any captions!
Thanks for sharing.
Lorraine – It was great fun! You’ll have to make it to one of the conferences soon.
Great photos! I’m definitely going to your kitchen next time … 🙂 And Jan, I’m really clumsy too!
Christina – you are more than welcome anytime 🙂 xx
