Celia J Anderson

celiaI left my job as assistant head at a primary school in 2016 to write full time, and so far it’s been a great experience. To begin with I ate way too much cake and missed the children badly, but have now adjusted (almost had to go into rehab for the cake problem, and am still running a drama group for kids).

My next writing project is based on a series of letters – stacks of them – discovered by my cousin when she had to do the sad job of clearing her parents’ house. The letters, from the family in the Midlands to my aunt and uncle in Cornwall) run from 1948 almost to the present time, and are an amazing treasure trove of random memories. I also write for children, both novels and plays for my drama gang.
